SUMMARY The Sanitation Manager will ensure that all processing and packaging equipment is changed, cleaned and sanitized prior to the following production day. In addition, the Manager will ensure that all work activities of direct and indirect reports are performed with attention to highest standard of food quality, safe processes, and compliance with all company, customer, and legal requirements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages directly exempt level team leader and indirectly non-exempt employees in the Sanitation department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
