Plant Finance Manager
Ken's Foods maker of Ken's Steak House Salad Dressing and Sweet Baby Rays Barbecue Sauce is adding a new Plant Finance Manager position to our team. This new position will be located onsite in our McDonough, GA facility.
As Plant Finance Manager, you will oversee all the plants’ financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance with corporate policies. This role provides financial leadership and strategic guidance to drive efficiency and profitability while maintaining strong internal controls. This is a roll up you sleeves position that will work closely with plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the plant's financial operations, including forecasting, actual and budgeting reporting
- Collaborate with plant management to develop and implement strategies for operational improvements
- Conduct ROI analysis on capital expenditures and major projects to ensure optimal allocation of resources
- Establish and maintain standard costs for all products, ensuring accuracy and alignment with actual production costs
- Regularly analyze cost variances and partner with the plant manager to implement correction actions to optimize cost efficiency
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maintain operational standards and improve performance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
Lead special projects aimed at operational innovation, such as implementing new technology or systems to enhance productivity - Measure and report on greenhouse gas emissions to ensure compliance with GHG Protocol and support sustainability initiatives
- Participate in the financial close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Provide financial training and guidance to plant staff as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years experience in financial management role in manufacturing.
Additionally, this individual will need;
Strong understanding of financial management, cost accounting, and operational processes. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
