SUMMARY
Ken’s Foods, LLC is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Club Channel to drive growth and maximize our brand presence at Costco, BJ’s Wholesale, and Sam’s Club. This role is responsible for identifying business opportunities, optimizing resources, and executing strategies to achieve ambitious sales and market share objectives.
Success in this role requires a cross-functional mindset, working closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to navigate supply chain complexities and ensure seamless execution of Club Sales initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate with R&D and Packaging Engineering to deliver innovation that meets evolving Club consumer needs.
As the Director of Club Channel, you will be the driving force behind elevating account management, developing innovative growth strategies, and fostering strong internal and external partnerships. You will leverage data-driven insights, align business goals with customer strategies, and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team.
We’re looking for a proactive, results-oriented leader with strong business acumen, exceptional collaboration skills, and a passion for driving sustainable growth in the Club Channel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Execution
- Drive the achievement of AOP targets (sales volume, financial goals).
- Maximize trade spending while maintaining budget compliance.
- Customer Relationship & Strategy Management
- Lead strategic discussions on category growth, and assortment, with senior Club executives.
- Develop and execute long-term customer strategies, aligning with Ken’s corporate objectives to achieve volume, profit, and market share growth.
- Track industry trends, monitor competitors, and implement brand/category strategies.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team and external brokers.
- Provide direction on corporate strategies and customer-specific initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication with Supply Chain to mitigate risks and address challenges.
- Financial Management & Compliance
- Monitor and control sales spending, expenses, and ensure adherence to financial policies.
- Enforce customer compliance with contractual agreements.
- Oversee trade funds for promotional activities to drive volume within approved limits.
- Collaboration with Marketing & R&D
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company goals, driving growth
within Club and identifying new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the Marketing and R&D teams to identify consumer trends, insights, and product
opportunities that align with customer needs and market demands.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of cross-functional sales experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, including strong knowledge of Club operations.
• Proven success in Club account management and leading sales teams
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Up to 35% required.
