The ASRS (automated storage and retrieval system) Attendant supports the operation of an automated material handling system by closely monitoring warehouse mission executions. This role has the responsibility of diagnosing and resolving physical and IT errors. The Attendant will utilize different PC applications to guarantee that systems such as Warehouse Management System (WMS) are correctly communicating and corresponding with the inventory. The candidate concentrates on ensuring the efficient operation of the AS/RS and segments associated with the machine. Daily tasks consist of observing WMS/Savanna screens, clearing conveyor or S/RM equipment faults, tucking stretch wrap tails, restacking product from broken pallets and jogging pallets that have missed their target position.
