Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY
Prepares processing/packaging documentation for compliance and provides administrative support.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Audits, prepares, and files daily Kitchen/Production paperwork for compliance.
  • Organizes and maintains files to SQF standard for product recall purposes and assists Quality management with providing documentation on product process issues.
  •  Audits Kitchen and Dries room reports for Ingredient Lot Tracking compliance.
  • Collects, compiles, and enters data utilizing Plantview, Pipeline, Q-Tip, Supplyside, Composer and AS400 applications.
  • Enters data and distributes weekly quality scorecard.
  • Supports Quality Department Daily Operations Manager.
  • Maintains personal Success Factors objectives and development plans.
  • Provides lunch & breaks for receptionist when necessary.
  • Other projects/duties as assigned.

 

FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Producing product free of contamination
  • Following all Ken’s Foods Security and GMP policies
  • Reporting any suspicious activities anywhere in or around the plant
  • Inspection of work area for any possible product contamination issues on a continuous basis

  • Completes task thoroughly and accurately to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, reports, and documents when there is a deviation from quality, legal, or food safety standards.
